The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, j. j.
Councilmen present:
Councilmen absent:
Furlong, Durbin, Levy
Leonis, Peralta
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy, that the
reading of the Minutes of the previous mee.ting be dispensed
with. Motion carried.
At this time Councilman Durbin introduced Resolu-
tion No. '140, a resolution rescinding the action of the City
Council in passing Resolution No. 739, and moved its adop-
tion, which was seconded by Councilman Levy, and carried.
Councilman Durbin introduced Resolution No. 741,
a resolution of the City Council of the City of Vernon
authorizing the sale of $200,000.00 in bonds to The First,
National Bank of Vernon, California, and moved its adoption,
which was seconded by rt:ouncilman Levy, and carried.
There being no further business, it was moved by
Levy, seconded by Durbin, that the meeting adjourn. Motion
carried.
