ORDINANCE NO. 471, an ordinance changing rates far water used in agricultura.l pursuits, was read for first read- ing. It wa.s moved by Durbin, seconded by Peralta, that Ordinance No. 471 be passed far first reading. Motion carried. At this time the engineering department ~e90J1Dtr.eJ1ded that the coatract far the furnishing of switch houses and appurtenances be awar-ded to Kelman Electric and Manufacturing Company . It was moved by Durbin. seeonded by Pera.l.ta, that all bids be rejected except the bid of Kelman Electric and Manufacturing Company, and that it be awarded the contract, subj ect to re-checking by the Commit te e on Wat er- & power, and that the City A.ttorney be instructed to dra.w same.
