Councilman Durbin introduced Resolution No. 743, & resolution of the City Council of the City of Vernon authorizing the sale of 160,000.00 in bonds to Weeden &- Co., of Los Angeles, 11 California, and moved its adoption, which was seconded by Oouncilman Peruta, a.nd carried. It was moved by peralta that the City Clerk a.nd City Treasurer be autharized, instruated a.nd empowered to cancel the 150,000 worth of bonds heretofore printed but not sold, numbering 364.7 to. 3696, incl.usive. Motion se:coBaecl by Durbin, a.nd carried. It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Pera1.ta., that the City Clerk be autharized and instructed to. have printed $60,000 warth of bonds to co.nform to. the bid of 'Needen & Co. and Resolution No. 74.3.
