C., acknowledging receipt of letter from the City of Vernon stat iDg it had no money available for remodeling post office quarters, was read. It was moved by Peral:ta, seconded by Durbin, that the communication be filed. Motion carried. C.ommunication from Central Manufacturing Dis- trict, requesting an emergency water line connec.tion at Fruitland and Downey Road, Was read.
