It waS mov ed by Levy, seconded by PeraJ. ta., that
the reading of the Minutes of the previous meeting be dis-
pensed with. )[otion carried.
The City Clerk announeed that this was the time and
place set ill the If'otlce for aatlon upon Resol.ution NO. 754,
a Resol.ution noti:fying the Board of Supan isors of the County
of Los Angel.e. of the withdrawal. of said city from the Los
.Ar1gel.ea County Free Library System.
At this time Councilman Levy introduced RmSOLUTIOli
BO. '154 and moved its adopt ion, which Vias seconded 'by c-ounci~-
man Durbin, and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 475, an ordina.nce fixing the rate of
taxes and ~evying the taxes f or the fiscal. year beginning
J"uly 1, 1.934, was read for second reading.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Levy, that
ORDINANCE BO. 4'15 be passed. for second reading. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 4'15, an ordinance fixing the rate of
taxes and levying the taxes for the fiscal year beginning
J"u1.y 1, 1934, was read for third and final reading.

agreement submitted be approved and the Mayor and City C1.erk
