Mot ion carried. C~unica.tion from Richfield Oil Company, requesting permission to store Diesel oil in Tank No. 51, and gaaoline in Tanks Nos. 52 and 53. (These tanks have been uaed by Gi1- more Oil Company and are located at Jameson Plant property on each 28th Street) was read. It Waa moved by Durbin, seconded by Pera,1.ta, that the cor.rmwnication be filed and permit granted subject to a test of the foamite system located on sa.id property. Motion carried. Communication fram Globe Grain & Milling Compa.ny, regarding East 26th street between Downey Road and their yards, waS read. It WaS moved by Durbin, seconded by Peralta, that the communicat ion be fi1ed and referred to the 01 ty Engineer for report. Mot ion carried. Communication from Sparling & Teel, attorneys at Law, regarding the a.pplication of Rich Manufacturing Company, now: before the Council, was read. It was moved by Peralta, sece.ded by Durbin, tha.t the same be referred to the Commit tee of the Whole. Mot ion carried. Circula.r letter from State Board of Equalization, regarding rat io of assessed to true value of non-operat ive property in counties, WaS read. It WaS moved by Durbin, seconded by Pera.lta, that the same be fi1ed. Mot ion carried. Communication from Owens Parks Lumber Company, re- questing pe.rmission to cut down pepper tree growing on parkiag ~lne of its property at 2100 East 38th street, wa.s read. It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Pera.1.ta., that the communica.tion be :filed a.nd permit granted subjecrt to the inspection of the City Engineer. Kotion carried. Communication from C. R. Duggan & Son, manufacturers of suit ca.se and automobile hardware, for permit to conduct busil'tess at 2306 kst 48th street, was rea.d. It was moved by Peralta., seconded by Durbin, that the communication be :fi~ed and permit granted. It was moved by Levy, seoonded by Durbin, that the aommunications be filed and permits granted. Motion carried. Report of the Police Department was read. It was moved by Durbin, seconded bypera.lta, that the same be filed. Motion carried. Minutes of the Committee on Water & Power, for the meetings of November 20 and November 27, 1934, were read.
