It was movad. by Durbin, seconded by Levy ,that the
reading of the Minutes of the previous meet ing be dispensed
'Rith. Motion carried.
Communicat ion from Crouch Truck Line s, re'iue st ing
permit to operate trucking business at 21.20 East 37th street,
was r.ead.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by PeraJLta, that
the communication be filed and permit granted. Motion carried.
Communlcat ion fr'om Nu-Bell Sport swear C:ompany, re-
questing permit to manufacture women's ready to wear apparel
at 4814 Lama Vista Avenue, Wi as read.
It was moved by hrbin, seconded by Levy, that the
communication be filed. and permit granted. Motion carried.
Communication from Sherman Mendelsohn, for permit to
operate a restaurant at 2100 East VernoD Avenua, was J!"ead.
It -as moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin, that the
same be referred to the Police Department. Motion carried.
C.ommunication from Fred V. Kammerer', for permit to
sell ice cream on vaI"ious private pr'operties, W'as read.
It was moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin, that thEl
same be referred to the Police Department. Mot ion carried.
Communication from Angust Del Tiempo, re~ueating
the City to waive collection of license fee on boarding house
at 4416 St. Charles Avenue, due: to the fact that onJ.y two
boarders occupy rooms, was read.
I.t was moved by Durb in. seconded by peralta, -that
the communica.tion be referred to the pOl.ice De.par-tment. Mo-
tion carried.

ing Ral.ph Cirillo, fined for hauling refuse in city of VernOR,
was read.

RESOLUTION NO. 766, a resolution of intention of
the City Council.. to abandon a port ion o~ East 50th Street,
was read.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by peral:ta, that
BSOLtJ'l'ION NO. 7€H) be adopted. Mot ion carried.
It was moved by Levy, seconded by Durbin, that the
City Engineer be authoriz.ed to sign certain papers for public
work with Federal a.id, regarding storm drain. Vat ion c&r<ried.
