The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, J. J.
Furlong.
CouncilInen present: .FUrlong, Leonis, Durbin
CouncilInen absent: Levy, Peralta
It was moved ~ Durbin, seconded by Leonis, that the
reading of the Minutes of the previous meeting be dispensed
with. Motion carried.
At this time the Clerk anno'l.lnced that the ma.tter to
betaken up by the City CoUncil' a.tthistime was the recom-
mendationof the 'Acting City Engineer for the furnishing of
centrifugal pump.
It was moved by Leonls,... seconded by Durbin, that
all bidsbe.r ejected for the fumishing of one centrifugal
pump, heretofore advertised for. by the City, except the bid
of Fairbanks, Morse & Co., and that it be awarded the con-
tract, and that the Clerk be instructed to return checks to
unsuccessful bidders. Motion carried.
It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Leonis, that
the meeting adjourn. Motion ed.
