Motion carried. Communication from Petroleum Equipment Co., regard;" ing parking conditions in the vicinity'of their plant located at 2800 South Alameda Street, was read. It was moved by Leonis, seconded by Durbin, that the communication be filed and referred to the Police Department for report. Motion carried. Communication fr<?m. It was moved by Leonis, seconded by Levy, that the same be filed. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 872, a resolution authorizing the execution of a'certain agreement with Southern California Edison Company Ltd., for joint use of poles, was read. It was moved by LevY, seconded by Leonie, that RESOE.UTION NO. 872 be adopted. Motion carried. At this time the Light & Power Department auditor filed a report of the employees that left the City to go wi th Southern California Edison Company, ~td. It was moved by Leonis, seconded by Durbin, that RES~UTION NO. 874 be adopted. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 875, a resolution declaring the prevail- ing rate per diem wages under Specifications No. 10~was read. It was moved by Leonis, seconded by Durbin, that RESOLUTION NO. 875 be adopted. Motion carried. RESOLU'I'ION.NO. 876, a resolution of the City Council transferring $22,OOO.OO-from the Water General Fund to the Water Construction Fund, was read. It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Peralta, that RESOLUTION NO. 876 be adopted. Motion carried. It was moved by Leonis, seconded by Durbin, that the Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for construction of a pump house on"East Vernon Avenue, in accordance with Specifica- tions No. 109. Motion carried. "Minutes of the meeting: of the Water and Power Committee of July 6, 1937, were read. It was moved by Durbin, seconded by Peralta, that the same be filed. Motion carried. ..
