At this time the City Attorney suggested that tneCity employ Charles Kramer to assist the City Attorney in the controversy between the City of Vernon and the City of Los Angeles. It was moved by Peralta, seconded by Leonis that the request of the City Attorney be concurred in, and that Mr. Charles.Kramer be employed to assist the City Attorney, and he be paid a reasonable com- pensation for his services. Motion carried. Communications from the following firms for permits to haul refuse from their premises upon and along the streets of the City of Vernon, were read: L. A.
