MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED REGULAR
MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF. VERNON HELD TUESDAY
MARCH 10, 1942, AT THE HOUR OF
THREE O'CLOCK P. M., AT THE CITY
HALL, 4305 SANTA FE AVENUE,
VERNON, CALIFORNIA.
The meeting was called to order by th~ City Clerk in the absence of the
Mayor.
Councilmen Present:
Messrs. Peralta, Furlong,
Scheider.
Councilmen Absent:
Messrs. Leonis and Levy.
At this time the Clerk declared that owing to the absence of the
Mayor it would be necessary to nominate a Mayor Pro Tempore.
It was moved by Furlong and seconded by Scheider that Council-
man Peralta act as Mayor Pro Tempore. Motion carried.
The Mayor Pro Tempore then called the meeting to order.
It was moved by Scheider and seconded by Furlong that the
Minutes of the previous meeting be approved. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 1096, a Resolution of the City Council of the
City of Vernon, calling a general municipal election, was read.
It was moved by Furlong and seconded by Scheider that
Resolution No. 1096 be adopted. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 550, an Ordinance of the City Council of the
City of Vernon, amending Section I of Ordinance No. 548, was read.
It was moved by Scheider and seconded by Furlong that
Ordinance No. 550 be adopted. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council
it was moved by Scheider and seconded by Furlong that the meeting adjourn.
Motion carried.
