MINUTES OF ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON,
HELD ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 1945, AT
2:00 P.M. at THE OFFICE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL~ 4305 VERNON AVENUE. VERNON.Cal.
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Leonis, Trowbridge, Anderson, Poxon and Mailliard
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: None
The meeting was called to order by Mayor J. B. Leonis.
It was moved by poxon, seconded by Malll1ard, that the
minutes of the previous meeting be approved. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION No. 1281, a Resolution agreeing to contribute its
share of the total cost of ". the Repair", Replacement and Rebuilding of the
Los Angeles Outfall Sewer ~ystem and ~reatment Plant was read.
It,was moved by Trowbridge, seconded by Anderson, that Resolu-
tion No. 1281 be adopted. Motion carried unanimoUSly. .
RESOLUTION No. 1282, a resolution accepting deed from Brunswig
Drug Company, was reaa.
It was moved by Trwobridge, seconded by Paxon, that Resolution
Bo. 1282 be adopted. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION No. 1283, a Resolution authorizlng and instructing the
City Treasurer of the city of Vernon to transfer funds for the purpose of
paying an interlocutory judgment in condemnation proceedings #505551 in
the Superior Court of the Sta te of California, in and for the County of
Los Angeles, was read.
It was moved by Trowbridge, seconded by Anderson, that Resolu-
tion No. 1283 be adopted. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION No. 1284, a Resolution granting to Ernest Giles a
leave of absence. for an undetermined period, was read.

It was moved by Trowbridge, seconded by Anderson, that Resolution
1284, be adopted. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it
was moved by poxon, seconded by Mallliard, tl:1at the meeting adjourn.
Motion carried.
