MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEET.un OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON,
HELD ON MONDAY, PARIL 8th, 1946 AT
2:00 P. M. AT THE OFFICE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL. 4305 SANTA FE AVENUE. VERNON
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Leonis, Trowbridge, Anderson and Poxon
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: Maillard
The meeting was called to order by Mayor J. B. Leonis.
It was moved by Anderson, seconded by Poxon, that the minutes
of the previous meeting be approved. .Motion carried.
Resolution No. 1292, a resolution authorizing the execution of
an agreement between the City of Los Angeles and the City of Vernon for
Disposal of sewage through the Los Angeles Outfall Sewer System, and
arrangii1g~-:for payment to the City of Los Angeles by the City of Vernon
of its proportionate share of the cost of construction of Treatment
Plant and Submarine Tube at Hyperion, was read.
It was moved by Trowbridge, seconded by Poxon, that Resolution
No. 1292 be adopted. Motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: Leonis, Poxon, Anderson and Trowbridge
NOEll: None
ABSENT: Mailliard
There being no further business to come before the meeting,
it was moved by Trowbridge, seconde. by Anderson, tmt the meeting adjourn.
