It was moved by Mailliard, seconded by Anderson, that the ~utes
o~ the previous meeting be approved. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 610 - An Ordinanceo~ the City of Vernon ~ixing the
rate of taxes and levying the taxes ~or the Fiscal year beginning July 1,
1947, was read for second reading.
It was moved by !rowbridge, seconded by Mailliard, that Ordinance
No. 610 be passed ~or second reading. Motion carried.
ORDIlfANCE NO. 610, an Ordinance o~ the City of Vernon, ~ixing the
rate of taxes and levying the taxes ~or the year beginning July 1, 1947
was read for third and ~inal reading.
It was moved by !rowbridge, seconded by Anderson, that Ordinance
No. 610 be adopted. Motion carried by the ~ollowing vote:

RESOLUTION No. 1352, a Resolution approving and authorizing the
execution by the City of a lease between the City of Vernon and Southern-
California Edison Company leasing certain real property of the City of Vernon

to Southern California Edison Company, vas read.
It was moved by !rowbridge, seconded by Anderson, that Resolution
No. 1352 be adopted. Motion carried.
'rhere being no ~urther business to come be~ore the meeting, it
was moved by Furlong, seconded by Anderson, that the meeting adjourn.
Motion carried.
