LOCATED AT 430, SAlin FE AVENUE, VERNON,
CALIFORNIA

COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Furlong, Anderson, poxon,
. pilliard and Trowbridge.
COUNCILMEN ABSENT : None
The meeting was called to order by Mayor R. J. Furlong.
It was moved by Anderson, seconded by Trowbridge that
the reading o:f the minutes of April 18, 19,0 be laid over. Motion carried.
Special Counsel, Fdward R. Young, presented to the
Council a letter :from the Consolidated Pacific Investment Company dated
April 21, 19,0, which had been delivered to him by messenger.

The letter was read to the Council and, after
discussion o:f the proposition submitted in said letter, it was
moved by Anderson, seconded by Trowbridge and carried, that it be
accepted by the Council; extension of the bond re:ferred to therein
was approved, and a building permit covering the westerly 138 feet
of Lot 101 Tract 142,6, was issued, and the af'oresa1d letter was
ordered pl.aced on :file.
There being no further business to come before the
meeting, it was moved by Trowbridge, seconded by Mailliard that the
meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
