OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
1fELD ON TUESDAY, MARCH 11, 1952 AT 2 O'CLOCK
P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CH>>IBERS OF THE CITY
HALL LOCATED AT 1;-305 SANTA FE AVENUE,
VERNON. CALIFORNIA.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Anderson, Furlong, Mailliard, Poxon, Trowbridge
COUNCIL ABSENT : None
The meeting was called to order by Mayor R. J. Furlong.
y~. Edward R. Young, Special Counsel appeared before
the Council and reported upon the recent decision by the California
Supreme Court in the matter of City of Vernon et aI, vs. The Superior
Court, L.A. 21820. Mr. Young advised compliance with the judgement, and
after a general discussion, it was agreeded that.Mr. Young present to
the City Council the necessary Resolutions at an adjourned regular
meeting to be held Monday, March 17, 1952 at 12:30 o'clock P.M.
There being no further business to come before the
meeting, it was moved by Trowbridge, seconded by Mailliard that the
meeting adjourn until Monday, March 17, 1952 at 12:30 o'clock P.M.
Motion carried.
