CITY COUNCIL or THE CITY OF VERNON
HELD FEBRUARY 4. 1964 At NO O'CLOCK
P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER OF THE
CITY HALL LOCATED AT 4305 SANTA FE

COUNCIL PRESENT: Anderson, Furlong, Mailliard, Poxon
COUNCIL ABSENT: Malburg
The meeting was called to order by Mayor It. J. Furlong.
''Warrant Register No. 158" covering claims and demands
presented during the period January 16 to 31, which includes Demands
Nos. 3570 to 3698 (both inclusive) and Demands Nos. LP 145 to LP 148
(both inclusive), drawn on the United California Bank, totaling
$117,877.21 (accounting period February, 1964), was examined and
audited.
It was moved by poxon, seconded by Mailliard, that
''Warrant Register No. l58n be approved and payment authorized for
Demands Nos. 3570 to 3698 (both inclusive) and Demands Nos. LP 145
to LP 148 (both inclusive), with no exceptions. Motion carried.
Ayes: Anderson, Furlong, Mailliard, Poxon
Bo..; None
Absent: Malburg
It was moved by Paxon, seconded by Anderson, that out of
respect to the memory of John B. Moore, Administrative Officer, who
passed away on or about January 29, 1964, the meeting adjourn until
Wednesday, February 5, 1964, at 2:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council
Chamber of the City Hall located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon,
California.
The meeting adjourned at 2:10 o'clock p.m.
