Kaeser At this time, 4:05 o'clock p. m., it was moved by Gonzalas, seconded by Ybarra, that the City Council go into executive session, in accordance with Attorney/Client privilege. Motion carried. I All persons, with the exception of the City Clerk, the City Attorney, and Police Chief Hogan, were excluded from the executive session. Mayor Malburg ordered all communications to and from the executive session were deemed private. At this time, 4:35 o'clock p. m., it was moved by Ybarra, seconded by Gonzales, that the City Council go out of executive session and reconvene regular session. Motion carried. At this time, 4:37 o'clock p. m., it was moved by Gonzales, seconded by Ybarra, that the City Council go into executive session, in accordance with Section 54957 of the Government Code. Motion carried. I All persons with the exception of the City Clerk, the City At1Drney, Chief George Bass and Fire Chief Colvin were excluded from the executive session. Mayor Malburg ordered all communications to and from the executive session were deemed private. At this time, 4:40 p. m., Councilman McCormick was seated for the meeting. At this time, 4:55 o'clock p. m., it was moved by McCormick, seconded by Ybarra, that the City Council go out of executive session and reconvene regular session. Motion carried. I I It was moved by McCormick, seconded by Gonzales that P.N. Moore- head,L. M. Jackson and L. D. Schultz be named temporary Battalion Chiefs, effective June 1, 1978 and that they be paid the salary of Battalion Chief, Grade 3, effective same date. Motion carried. Communication from S. E. Hogan, Police Chief, dated May 11, 1978 requesting authority for Lieutenant L. S. Rosenkrantz to attend California Association of Labor Relations Officers Work Shop in San Diego, California, May 25 to May 26, 1978, with an expense allowance of $108.00 was presented. It was moved by McCormick, seconded by Ybarra, that the request of S. E. Hogan, Police Chief, be approved. Motion carried. At this time, 6:02 o'clock p. m., it was moved by Ybarra, seconded by McCormick, that the City Council go into executive session, in accordance with Attorney/Client privilege. Motion carried. I At this time, 6:17 o'clock p. m., it was moved by Gonzales, seconded by Ybarra that the City Council go out of executive session and reconvene regular session. Motion carried. It was moved by Gonzales, seconded by Ybarra, that Fire Chief Colvin be instructed to cooperate with the City Attorney and the City Clerk- Director of Finance, to the fullest extent in the investigation of all issues in the pending litigation of Vernon Fire Fighters Local 2312 vs. the City of Vernon.
