MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING OF
THE CITY COUNCIL HELD THURSDAY,
FEBRUARY 4, 1982, AT 4:45 O'CLOCK,
P. M., IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER OF THE
CITY HALL, LOCATED AT 4305 SANTA FE
AVENUE, VERNON, CALIFORNIA
MEMBERS PRESENT:
MEMBERS ABSENT:
Malburg, Ybarra, Gonzales, Davis
McCormick
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Malburg.
Communication from David E. Sparks, Manager of Resale
and Community Services of Southern California Edison, agree-
ing to extending the term of the November 2, 1981 letter
agreement with Southern California Edison to April 2, 1982,
was presented by Bruce V. Ma1kenhorst, City Administrator/
City Clerk.
It was moved by Ybarra, seconded by Gonzales, that the
communication from David E. Sparks be received and filed and
that the City of Vernon accept the 60 day extension of the
November 2, 1981 letter agreement to April 2, 1982 and that
the Mayor be authorized to transmit a letter to Mr. Sparks
accepting the proposed extension but to take exception to the
additional remarks contained in the balance of said letter.
Motion carried. Councilman Davis abstained
There being no further business to come before the City
. Council, it was moved by Ybarra, seconded by Gonzales, that
the meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
