NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE VERNON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the
Council of the City of Vernon will be held on Tuesday, February
14, 1984, commencing at 4:45 P.M. in the Council Chambers located
at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, California
Said Special meeting shall be for the purpose of considering
one course of action from those listed below, as allowed by ~22843.5
of the Elections Code:
1. Appoint to the office the person who has been
nominated.
2. Appoint to the office any eligible elector if
no one has been nominated.
3. Hold the election if either no one or only one
person has been nominated.
Also to be considered at said meeting is the discipline
or termination of Police Officer Jose Castro.

of the City of Vernon is hereby called, to be held on Tuesday,
February 14, 1984, commencing at 4:45 P.M. in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, California
