20000926 Regular City Council Meeting - MinutesMINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF THE CITY OF VERNON HELD SEPTEMBER 26, 2000 AT 5:00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE CITY HALL LOCATED AT 4305 SANTA FE AVENUE, VERNON, CALIFORNIA MEMBERS PRESENT: Malburg, Ybarra, Gonzales, McCormick, Davis MEMBERS ABSENT: None The meeting was called to order by Mayor Malburg. The City Clerk announced that now was the time for anyone in the audience to address the City Council on any item on the Agenda other than with regard to any Public Hearing that be listed. The Mayor asked if there was anyone in the audience who would like to address the City Council. There was no one wishing to address the City Council. Consideration and discussion of renewing the Agreement for Ivanhoe Energy Services & Development, Inc., was presented. The City Clerk briefly summarized this matter. It was moved by Gonzales, seconded by McCormick, that the matter of renewing the Agreement for Ivanhoe Energy Services & Development, Inc. be approved. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 7637 - A Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Vernon Approving And Authorizing The Execution Of An Amendment No. One To The Agreement For Consulting Services By And Among The City Of Vernon, The Redevelopment Agency Of The City Of Vernon And Ivanhoe Energy Services & Development, Inc., was presented. It was moved by Ybarra, seconded by Davis, that Resolution No. 7637 be approved and adopted. Motion carried Consideration of Redevelopment Revolving Fund Loan No. 7 Between the City of Vernon and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Vernon, was presented. The City Attorney briefly summarized this matter. It was moved by Gonzales, seconded by Davis, that the consideration of Redevelopment Revolving Fund Loan No. 7 Between the City of Vernon and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Vernon be received and filed. Motion carried. Mayor Malburg abstained from voting on this matter. RESOLUTION NO. 7629 - A Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Vernon Approving And Authorizing (1) The Transfer Of Funds To The Redevelopment Revolving Fund; (2) The Payment Of Monies In The Redevelopment Revolving Fund To The Redevelopment Agency Of The City Of Vernon; And (3) The Execution Of Redevelopment Revolving Fund Loan No. 7 Between The City Of Vernon And The Redevelopment Agency Of The City Of Vernon, was presented. Adjourned City Council Minutes September 27, 2000 It was moved by McCormick, seconded by Ybarra, that Resolution No. 7629 approved and adopted. Motion carried. Mayor Malburg abstained from voting. The Mayor called a recess at 5:05 p.m. The City Council reconvened in regular session at 5:16 p.m., all members present before the recess again being present. The City Clerk advised that there were no items to discussed in closed session. 1.
