20090601 Regular City Council Meeting - Minutes (2)MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF THE CITY OF VERNON HELD MONDAY, JUNE 1, 2009, AT 2:28 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE CITY HALL LOCATED AT 4305-.SANTA FE AVENUE, VERNON, CALIFORNIA MEMBERS PRESENT: 'Gonzales, McCormick, Malburg, Davis, Maisano MEMBERS ABSENT: None The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gonzales. Special Counsel advised that there were no changes to the agenda. Special Counsel announced to the audience that this was the time for public comments. Mayor Gonzales asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to address the City Council at this time. There was'no one in the audience who wished to address the City Council at this time. Special Counsel announced that now was the time to begin the 2009-2010 budget review. The Fire Chief addressed in detail the proposed 2009- 2010 departmental budgets as listed: 1. Fire 2. Haz Mat Fire 3. Civil Defense The City Administrator addressed in detail the proposed 2009-2010 departmental budgets as listed: 1. City Council 2. City Administration The Director of Personnel addressed in detail the proposed 2009-2010 budget for the Personnel Department. The City Administrator asked that the presentation of the 2009-2010 budget for Information Technology Department be deferred to June 8, 2009. The Director of Health & Environmental Control addressed in detail the proposed 2009-2010 budget for Health &. Environmental Control. Special City Council Meeting Minutes June 1, 2009 There being no further business to come before the City Council at this time, it was moved by McCormick, seconded by Davis, that the meeting be adjourned, the time being 3:22 p.m. Motion carried.
