at the request of ~. J. Furlong, the duly and regularly elected,
qualified and aoting Clerk of the City of Vernon, I posted true
and eorrect oopies of Ordinance No. 194. of the Cit~ of Vernon,
anti tIed "An crdins.nee regulating and licensing the hauling of
dirt. sand or gravel in the C1 ty of Vernon," in three of the
most public places in the City of Vernon, to-wit; one at the
main entrance to the regular meeting place of the Board of
Trustees of said citJ' at the northviest COI"ner of 38th and Irving
streets; one at the northwest corner of 38th and Santa Fe avenue;
MlU one at the northwest cornc+ of Vernon and Santa Fe aven~e5.
That there Was not at the ti~et nor is there now, a
newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in
the City of Vernon.
