drilling, construotion and completion of wells, reeervoirs,
stand-pipes, tanke, mains, pipe linea, pumping stations, pumping
plants, maclunery and equipment, fire houses and fire engines
and equipment, and all other works, property or structures
neoessary or proper for a water works system for aup~lying.

third. of all the votere voting at such special election. bonds

been able to do ao sinoe appearing, the polls shall be kept
opan a suf~lcient time to enable them to vote. But no one
who shall arrive at ths polling place after 7 o'olock in the
afternoon shall be entitled to vote, although the pOlle may
be open when he arrives.

The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Ordinance by a vote of two-thirds of all
the members of the Board of Trustees of said City, and its
approval by the l'resident of said Board, and shall cause said
Ordinanoe to be posted for two weeks in three publio plaoes
in cid City of Vernon, to-wit: In front of the City ITall and
at corner of Thirty-seventh Street and Santa ]'e Avenue and
at the corner of Thirty-eighth Street and Santa Fe Avenue.
Thereupon and thereafter it ehall take effect and be in full
force.
