table waste or other solid matter, or material, or obstruetion of
any kind Whatever of such nature or in such quanti the ae shall
clog, obstruct, or fill euch eanitary sewer or which shall inter_
fere with or prevent the effective Uee or operation thersof.

AnY person, fir.m, or oorporation violating any of the

2 provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misd...
S llleQllOr and, upon oonviction thereof, shall be punishable by a
4 fine of net to exceed Three Hundred Doll~rs ($300.00) or be com-
5 mitted to the City Jail of the City of Vernon for a period of
6 not exceeding ninety (i90) days, or by both such fine and imprison-
7 mente

9 There being no newspaper pr1nted and oirculated in the
10 City of Vernon, the City Clerk 10 hereby directed to certi:!"y to
11 the passage of thie Ordinanoe and post or cause to be poeted the
12 same in three (3) of the moet pUblio plaoes in said City of Vernon,
IS to wit: The northwest oorr.er 0 f 38th. Street and Santa Fe Avewe,
14 the northwest eorner of 37th.. Street and Santa Fe Avenue, a.nd at
15 the entrance to the City Hall of said City of Vernon at the north-
16 west corner of 38th. street and Irving street. and thereupon and
17 thereafter the eame shall be in full force and effect.
