(a) That no cars or locomotives shall be permitted at
a.ny time to stand upon the etreet oocupied by said spur track,
except during the time actually employed in switching, and
that said spur tracks shall a.t all times be used so a8 to ob.
Btruct the use of said street by vehicles or passengers. as
little as possible. consistent with the uses for which said
spur track is to be constructed.
(b) That ea.i.d grantee, its Successors or assigns,
shall construct aJ.l neceBsary flumes or aulverta for the pas-
of water wherever and whenever necessary, and that all
flumes or culverts shall be constructed in accordance
the plans and specifications therefor approved by the
Engineer of the City of Vernon.

(c) Tha.t said grantee, its successors or assigns,
will pave and repave portions of the said street occupied by

or permission hereby granted. and the said City. by its Board
of Trustees, may thereupon declare such right and privilege
forfeited, and mau exclude from any further use of the street
occupied by said spur tracks. and the grant hereby made shall
thereupon become and rema.in null. void and of' no effect
e) That the Ci ty of' Vernon expressly reeerves the

(f) That no obstructions, whether its Cars or

said Railway Company. for a period longer than three (}) suc-

traffic from passing alon~ and in the space of six (6) feet on
either side of the center line of said 26th Street and at all
times whe.'1 said track is in use. the Railway Company shall
keep at its own expense. a flagI:iar1 or signal man thereat for
the purpose of indicating. and who shall indicate to the pub-
Ii c the fact that said track is in use, a.nd who shall do all
such things as are necessary and proper to prote:ct the public
from danger or injury by reason of Buch use.
(g) There being no newspaper of general circula-
tion publiShed and circti.la.ted inthe City of Vernon~ the Clerk
is hereby directed to post this ordinance in three of the rnest
public places in said City; to-wit., tl1e northwest Corner 0':"
37th Street and Ga.nta Fe Aven}.1.e. the northwest corner of 28th
Street and Santa Fe Avenue and at the entrance of the C it~r
Hall at the northwest corner of 28th street and Irving Street
