That the right, privilege and franohiee

the route and along end upon tho ss portions of etreets in the
said City of Vernon, describe,! as follows. to-wit:

this right, privilege and fI'Rnohiae Shall be used for the trans-

2. That the road construoted under the right, privi-

Provided, further, that if at any tilOO streets are
opened or established acrosS eaid railroad, ths grantes here-
of I or his assigns, shall peve or otherwise improve that por-
tion of the street at such crossi~ or crossings lytag between
the rails and for two feet outside thereof in suoh ill8nner as
shall be presoribed by ths Board of Trustees of eaid City, and

assigns, by the aooll,tance of thl", franohise, agrees to pay.
Provided. further, that said gra.ntee, or his assigns,
shall oonstruct all neoenar)' fl\lllles &nd oul....rts for the free
passage of water under the traoks where the Same naturally
flows, and that such flumes end cu1.verts shall be constructed
in accordance with plans ano specifioations provided by the
Board of Trustees.
Provided, further, f~&t said grantee, or his assigns,
shall have the right to excavate and remove portions of said
streets necessary t.o properljf construct said roed, and to erect
needful apparatus, Gide-tracks, turn-ous, switches, spur
traoks and other applls.n'oea neceesarir to properly equip and
operate said railroad.
Provided, further, that the City of Vernon, in prant-
ing said right, privilege ano. franchise f expressly reserves
the right to pave, maoadamize, renew, or sewer, any of said
atreete, or to lay water, gas or other pipe therein, or to erect

Seotion 3. The CIty Clerk shall certify to the pas-
sage of this ordinance by a two-third (2/3) vote of all the
members of the Board of Trustees of the City of Vernon, and
shell cause ths same to be prInted and posted in at laeet
three publio plaoes in said Clty of Vernon, and the'reupon and
thereaftsr it shall take .ffe~t and be In force.
