WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon did
appoint a Board of Election and establish an ele~Lian precinct
and pOlling pLace; and
weeks next preceding the date of election in the manner and
farm required by law; and
liehed at least once a week for a period of four successive
the territory described in said petition for the 3rd day of
Wbtober. 1928, and caused notices of said eLection to be pub-
