THE CITY C01J:lCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIIII AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: That for the purpose of raieing the sum

of money to be raised by taz:at ion upon the taxable property
in the Cit,. of Vernon as rnenue to oarr,. on the various de-

paruaents of' said City f'or the fiscal.. year- beginning .1uly 1,
1933, the rates of taxes for the ~ifferent portions of the
City of Vernon are hereby fixed, &lid taxee are hereby lev ie~,
on all taxable property in the different portione of said
City for the fisoal year beginning J"u~ 1, 1933, in the number
of cents upon each ODe Hundred Dollars of the a8seeaed valus
of said property as a.eeseed by the County Asseesor and equal-
h.ed by the Board of Supervisors of the Count.y of Los Angeles,
and for the ssverti funds and purpo.es set forth in the follaw-
ing table, the taxae levied upon propert7 in each portion of
eaid City hereinafter deeoribed and designated by a Distriot
Numbsr beillg at the rat... set opposite the daeignations of the
