AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY O~ ~&~NON A1~~~ING SECTION 31 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 347 OF ~Iffi CITY -)F V'3H.NON.
The City Council of the City of Vernon does ordain as follows:
Sect ion 1: '.1.'hat Sect ion 31 of Ordinance No. 347 of
the City of Vernon is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Seotion 31: For every person, firm or corpora.tion
operating gum, confection, soda wa.ter, or other vending
machines within the City of llernon, $1.00 per month for
each vending machine."
Section 2: 1hat t~e City Clerk of the city of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the
same to be ~JoE:ted in three of the most conspicuous places in the
~ity of Vernon. to-wit, the northwest corner of 38th Street and
Santa lj'e Avenue; the northwest corner of 37th Street a.nd Sa.nta.
Fe Avenue, and at the entrance to the City Hall of said Gity.
4305 Santa. 11'e Avenue, in the City of 'fernon. California; and
that this ordina.nce shall be in full force and effect fl.'om h,nd
after the date of posting.
