3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON RELATING TO THE CARE AND
EXPENDITURE OF MONEY RECEIVED BY THE VIATER DEPARTMEIlT OF THE
4 CITY OF VERNON.
5 TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS,

~t1on 1: That there is hereby created in tile
7 City Trea.ury two special fUnd. to be known as "Water Fund"
8 and "Water Construction Fund".

Section 2: That all moneys received by the city
10 from the sale of we. tel', shall be depoai tad in said special
11 fund designated "Water Fund", and tllere sllall be paid from
12 saltl fund all costs of opera tion and maintenance of' the
13 city's water plent and distributing system, including a
14 monthJ.y pa~ent into the 1925 Water Bond Interest and Re-
15 demption Fund of an amount equal to one-twelfth of the annual
16 bond interest and redemption due from the city to bond hold-
17 ers of the 1925 water bonds.

Section 3: That all moneys deposited in the "Water
19 Construction Fund" shall be used for extension, replacement
20 and improvement of the city's water devclopment and distribu-
21 t10n system.

Section 4: That, tbere being no newspaper printed,
published and circulated in the City of Vernon, tbe City
Clerk is hereby diree-ted tel certlf'y to the passage or this
Ordinance and shall post SQIJle, or cause same to be posted,
in three of tile most public p1acee in said City, to-wit:
the northwest corner or 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue;
the northwest corner o~ 37th Street and Santa Fe Avenue;
and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of
the City of Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, in
said City; that this Ordinence shall be in full force and
