Section 1: That .t;Yle rates to be charged by the
Water Department of' the Ci t;r of VernoIl, for the sale of water
from its municipal water plant for domestic, commercial, in-
dustrial and fire protection purposes, to be due and payable
to the City monthly, are hereby fixed as follows:
For the first 10,:00 cubic feet, 12~ per 100 cubic feet
1701" tile next 40,000 cubic i'eet, lli per 100 cubic feet
For the next 50,000 cubic feet, 91 per 100 cubic feet
For all over 100,000 cubic feet, 7;t per 100 cubic feut
Section 2: That the minimum rate to be charged to
consumers of water from the rrrunic1pal plant shall be as 1'01-
lows: Any person, firm or corporation receiving water from a

retail water business is hereby defined to mean a business
conducted by any person, l~i:PrrI or corporation for tho re-

plant shall be in excess of 12,000,000 cubic feet, or an
