ORDINANCE NO. 593
AN ORDINANCE OF' THE CITY OF VERNON OF'FIC IALLY NAMING A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE CITY OF VErNON, SIERRA PINE AVENUE.
THE CITY C OUNC IL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

5 THAT, WIffiREAS, certain properties have been deeded to
6 the eity of Vernon to be used for street purposes within said
7 City; and
8 WrffiREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of

10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
9 the City of Vernon to officially name said street:

Section 1. That a certain street within the City
of Vernon heretofore deeded to said city by the Los Angeles
Soap Company and the $tauffer Chemical Company and accepted
by the City of Vernon by Resolution No. 1297, running north
and south between 26th street and Bandini Boulevard, be, aDd
the same is hereby officially named SIERRA PINE AVENUE.
Section 2.
There being no newspaper of general
circulation printed, published and circulated in the City of
Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to the
passage of this ordinance, and shall post the same, or cause

the same to be posted in three of the most public places in the
said City of Vernon, to-wit:
Northwe st c orner of 38th street and Santa FIe Ave.,
the northwest corner of 37th street and Santa Fe Avenue,

and the Bulletin Board in the lobby of the City Hall of
the City of Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue,
in said city of vernon; that this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after thirty days from the date of
posting.
