City of Vernon
Vernon, California
Gentlemen:
The attached application of Los Angeles Junction
Railway Company for permission to construct a railroad
track across Boyle Avenue, some 316.0 ft. northerly from
center line of Fruitland Avenue, in the City of Vernon,
was referred to me for investigation and report.
The detail of the proposed location for the track
is satisfactory and it is therefore recommended that a
Franchise be granted which would contain all the usual pro-
visions and conditions.
The Los Angeles Junction Railway Company have
supplemented their original letter with a check in favor
of City of Vernon in amount 425.00 to cover costs of fran-
chise posting, etc., which check is attached hereto.
Respectfully submitted,
r'rancis Bates,
