AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING THE ANOUN'l' OF' IviONEY
3 NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON l'HE l'AXABLE PROPER'fY
WITHIN SAID CrrfY AS A REVENUE TO CARRY ON 1'HE VARIOUS DEPAR'r-
4 HENTS OF SUCH lVol.UNICIPAL CORPORATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COlVl-
HENCING JULY 1, 19.52, AND TO PAY THE BONDED OR OTHE;1\ INDEBTED-
5 NESS OF SAID CITY OF VERNON, OR ANY PORTION OR DISTRICT 'rHEREOF'.

Section 1: That the amount of money necessary to be
8 raised by taxation upon taxable property within the city of
9 Vernon as a revenue to carryon the various departments of said
10 city for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 19.52, and to pay
11 the bonded or other indebtednes s of said city, or any. portion

or district thereof, is hereby fixed in the sum of
Sixty-six thousand six hundred sixteen & 11/100
Three Hundred
Dollars
($ 366,616..11
) .
That said sum so fixed for the purposes hereinbefore
set forth, does not exceed the limit fixed by law for such pur-
poses.
Section 2:
There being no newspaper printed, pub-
1ished and circulated in the City of Vernon the City Clerk is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this ordinance and
shall post the same or cause the same to be posted in three of
the most public places in the city of Vernon, to wit: The north-
west corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue, the northwest
corner of 37th Street and Santa Fe Avenue, and the Bulletin
Board in the lobby of the City Hall of Vernon, located at 430.5
Santa Fe Avenue, and that immediately upon the passage and post-
ing thereof this ordinance shall be in full effect.
