ORDINANCE NO. 685
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON CONSENTING TO THE
3 ASSIGNMENT OF THAT CERTAIN PIPELINE FRANCHISE GRANTED
BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF VERNON BY ITS
4 ORDINANCE NO. 284.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
Consent. as required by Ordinance No. 284.
8 is hereby given to the Wilshire Oil Company. Inc.. a California corpora-
9 tion. to assign that certain pipeline franchise granted by the Board of
10 Trustees of the City of Vernon by its Ordinance No. 284. to the Wilshire
11 Oil Company of California. a New Mexico corporation. as assignee.
SECTION 2:
There being no newspaper printed. published
13 and circulated in the City of Vernon. the City Clerk is hereby directed
14 to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall post same. or cause
15 same to be posted. in three of the most public places in the City of
16 Vernon, to wit: The northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue;
17 the northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on
18 the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City. located at 4305
19 Santa Fe Avenue. all in the City of Vernon, Los Angeles County. California.
20 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
21 days from and after the date of posting.
