724
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON REPEALING ORDINANCE
4 NO. 703 OF SAID CITY.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOW
SECTION 1:
That Ordinance No. 703 be. and the same
9 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2:
There being no newspaper printed. pub-
11 lished. and circulated in the City of Vernon. the City Clerk is hereby
12 directed to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall post same.
13 or cause same to be posted. in three of the most public places in the
14 City of Vernon. to wit: the northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe
15 Avenue; the nortneast corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard;
16 and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City. located
17 at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue. all in the City of Vernon, Los Angeles County,
18 California; that this ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
19 days from and after the date of posting thereof.

Gentlemen:
It has recently been called to my attention that Ordinance
No. 703 declares Alameda Street (East Roadway) to be a one-
way street.
The street is not used in this way at the pre sent time and
current planning does not indicate this regulation to be desir-
able.
It is recommended that this ordinance be repealed.
