730
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF VERNON AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE
CALIFORNIA STATE EMPLOYEES' RETffiEMENT SYSTEM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOW
SECT ION 1:
That an amendment to the Contract between the
8 Ci ty Council of the City of Vernon and the Board of Administration# Californi
9 State Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said
10 amendment being attached hereto# marked "EXHIBIT A"# and by such
11 reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full.

SECT ION 2:
The Mayor of the City Council is hereby
13 authorized# empowered, and directed to execute said amendment for and on
15
14 behalf of said City.
SECTION 3:
There being no newspaper printed, published
16 and circulated in the City of Vernon# the City Clerk is hereby directed to
17 certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall post same, or cause same
18 to be posted# in three of the most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit:
19 The northwest c,orner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast
20 corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board
21 in the lobby of the City Hall of said City# located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue,
22 all in the City of Vernon.. Los Angeles County# California; that this ordinance
23 shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of
24 posting.
25 ADOPTED and APPROVED this & day of August# 1960.
