ORDINANCE NO. 745
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
740 OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES 0 RDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That Section II of Ordinance No. 740 is amended
in part to read as follow s:
"The rates to be charged and collected and the terms~
provisions. conditions, rules and regulations respecting the dis-
tribution of electrical energy supplied by the City of Vernon for
meter readings made on and after the effective date of this
Ordinance, are hereby fixed as. and shall be those rates, terms~
provisions. conditions~ rules and regulations set forth in a certain
document entitled "Tariff Schedules Applicable to Electric Service
of Southern California Edison Company" filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Vernon on December 27~ 1961, as amended and
supplemented by "Schedule No. D-l, Domestic Service" and
Schedule No. A-I, General Service" as revised by Southern
California Advice Letter No. 280-E, with an effective date of
February 22, 1963, except with the added condition that a
three-phase service will be supplied at 480 volts in certain areas
in the City of Vernon as specified by the City of Vernon, which
latter revised schedule is hereby ordered filed in the Office of the
City Clerk of the City of Vernon. "
SECTION 2:
Any ordinance, or parts of ordinances~ in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3:
There being no newspaper printed, published and
circulated in the City of Vernon,. the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify
to the passage of this Ordinance and shall post same, or cause same to be
posted~ in three of the most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the
northwest comer of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast comer of
Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the
