ORDINANCE NO. 747
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
740 OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SE CTION 1:
That Section II of Ordinance No. 740 is amended
6 in part to read as follows:
7 "The rates to be charged and collected and the terms, provi-
8 sions, conditions, rules and regulations respecting the distribution of
9 electrical energy supplied by the City of Vernon on and after the effective
10 date of this ordinance, are hereby fixed as, and shall be those rates. terms,
11 provisions, conditions, rules and regulations set forth in a certain document
12 entitled "Tariff Schedules Applicable to Electric Service of Southern
13 California Edison Company" filed with the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
14 on December 27, 1961, as amended and supplemented by new schedule
15 designated "Schedule No. A-8 General Service-Large", as revised by
16 Southern California Edison Company Advice Letter No. 284 E, with an
17 effective date of July 18, 1963, which letter revised schedule is hereby
18 ordered fUed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Vernon. "

SECTION 2:
Ordinance No. 744 and any other ordinance, or
20 parts of ordinances, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3:
There being no newspaper printed, published
and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby directed to
certify tothe passage of this Ordinance and shall post same, or cause same
to be posted, in three of the most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit:
the northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast
corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board
in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue,
all in the City of Vernon, Los Angeles County, California; that this ordinance
