1 ORDINANCE NO. 751
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 740
AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 745 OF SAID CITY.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
That Section II of Ordinance No. 740 is amended
6 in part to read as follows:
7 "The rates to be charged and collected and the terms..
8 provisions.. conditions.. rules and regulations respfrCting
9 the distribution of electrical energy supplied by the City
10 of Vernon for meter readings made on and after the
11 effective date of this Ordinance.. are hereby fixed as..
12 and shall be those rates.. terms" provisions. conditions.
13 rules and regulations set forth in a certain document
14 entitled "Tariff Schedules Applicable to Electric
15 Service of Southern California Edison Company" filed
16 with the City Clerk of the City of Ve-r--on on December
17 27. 1961.. as amended and supplemented by "Schedule
18 No. D-1.. Domestic Service.. and Schedule No. A-I..
19 General Service.. and Schedule No. LS..1.. Lighting -
20 Street and Highway.. Utility-Owned System.. as revised
21 by Southern California Edison Company Advise Letter
22 No. 290..E.. except with the added condition that in the
23 City of Vernon.. service will hI'! supplied at 480 volts..
24 three-phase on Rate Schedule No, A-l."

SECTION 2:
Ordinance No. 745 is specifically repealed.. and any
26 ordinance.. or parts of ordinances.. in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3:
There being no newspaper printed.. published and
circulated in the City of Vernon.. the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to
the passage of this Ordinance and shall post same.. or cause same to be posted..
in three of the most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest
corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis
Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the

1 City Hall of said City" located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue.. all in the City of
2 Vernon.. Los Angeles County. California; that this Ordinance shall be in full
3 force and effect thirty {30} days from and after the date of posting.
