2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 740
OF SAID CITY.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
That Section II of Ordinance No. 740 is amended
6 in part to read as follows:
7 "The rates to be charged and collected and the terms.. provisionsl
8 conditions.. rules and regulations respecting the distribution of electrical energ
9 supplied by the City of Vernon for meter readings made on and after the effec-
10 tive date of this Ordinancel are hereby fixed as.. and shall be those rates.. term .
11 provisions. conditions.. rules and regulations set forth in a certain document
12 entitled "Tariff Schedules Applicable to Electric Service of Southern California
13 Edison Company" filed with the City Clerk of the City of Vernon on December
14 271 1961.. as amended and supplemented by Rule No.2 and Rule No. 15.. as
15 revised by the Southern California Edison Company Sheets Nos. 3381-E.. 3392-
16 and 3393-E.. with an effective date of January 11 1964."

SECTION 2:
That Section II of Ordinance No. 740 is amended
18 by the addition of the following language:
19 liThe City Council of the City of Vernon may from time to time
20 authorize by resolution.. changes in the rules and regulations applicable to
21 electric service.. not in conflict with rate schedulesl relating to conditions of
22 service and application.. and interpretation of rates and relating to other pro-
23 I visions set forth in this Ordinance."

SECTION 3:
There being no newspaper printedl published
and circulated in the City of Vernon.. the City Clerk is hereby directed to certif
to the passage of this Ordinance and shall post same.. or cause same to be
posted.. in three of the most public places in the City of Vernon.. to wit: the
Northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the Northeast corner of
Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the lobby
of the City Hall of said City.. located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue.. all in the City of
Vernon.. Los Angeles County.. California; that this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect thirty (30) days after the date of posting.
