1 ORDINANCE NO. 756
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 656
OF SAID CITY.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
Ordinance No. 656 is hereby amended by adding
6 thereto the following language:
7 "Any uniform" badge" emblem or means of identification to
S be worn or carried by any patrol service" guard" or
9 watchman in the City of Vernon shall be of such style as in
10 the opinion of the Chief of Police of said City shall be
11 clearly distinguishable from the uniforms, badges, emblems
12 or means of identification worn or carried by the Vernon
13 Police Department. It

SECTION 2:
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
15 herewith are hereby repealed.
16 SECTION 3: There is no newspaper printed and published
17 within said City of Vernon. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
IS adoption of this Ordinance and to its approval by the Mayor and thereupon said
19 Ordinance shall be posted by or under the direction of the City Clerk in three
20 (3) public places in said City of Vernon.. to wit:
21 (1) Bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of the City of Vernon
22 4305 Santa Fe Avenue.
23 (2) Northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue.

(3) Northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard. '
Said Ordinance shall be posted within fifteen (15) days after its passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Vernon..
