2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 740
AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NO. 741 AND NO. 751 OF SAID CITY.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l:
That Section II of Ordinance No. 740 is amended
in part to read as follows:
"The rates to be charged and collected and the terms..
provisions.. conditions, rules and regulations respect..
ing the distribution of electrical engergy supplied by
the City of Vernon for service rendered on and after
the effective date of this Ordinance.. are hereby fixed
as" and shall be those rates, terms" provisions" con-
ditions.. rules and regulations set forth in a certain
document entitled "Tariff Schedules Applicable to
Electric Service of Southern California Edison Com-
panytt filed with the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
on December 27, 1961, as amended and supplemented
by "Schedule No. A-l" General Service.. Schedule No.
A-7, General Service.. Schedule No. D-l, Domestic
Service, Schedule No. LS-1.. Lighting-Street and
Highway Utility-Owned System.. Schedule No. LS-2..
Lighting-Street and Highway Customer-Owned
Installation, Schedule No. P-1" Power.. General Con-
nected Load Bases, Schedule No. PA-1, Power,
Agricultural and Pumping.. Connected Load Basis..
Schedule No. PA..2, Power.. Agricultural and Pumping..
Demand Basis.. all as revised by Southern California
Edison Company Advise Letter No. 293-E, dated May
29.. 1964, except with the added condition that service
will be supplied at 480 volts.. three-phase on Rate
Schedule No. A..1, at certain locations.. as determined
by the City of Vernon. n

SECTION 2:
Ordinances No. 741 and No. 751 are
specifically repealed and any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3:
There being no newspaper printed, published
and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
directed to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall
post same, or cause same to be posted in three of the most public
9 places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the Northwest corner of

38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the Northeast corner of Leonis
Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the
lobby of the City HaIl of said City, located at 4305 Santa Fe
Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, Los Angeles County, California;
that this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days from and after the date of posting.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of July, 1964.
