1 ORDINANCE NO. 761
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 752
OF SAID CITY.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
That Ordinance No. 752 is amended by adding
6 thereto the following section:

"SECTION 7.23 Metal Foundry. Means any business
operated for the purpose of melting.. reducing or refin-
ing metal or ore using in its operation the open cupola
method or process. "
SECTION 2:
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
12 herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3:
There being no newspaper printed" published and
14 circulated in the City of Vernon.. the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify to
15 the passage of this Ordinance and shall post same" or cause same to be posted..
16 in three of the most public places in the City of Vernon.. to wit: the Northwest
17 corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the Northeast corner of Leonis
18 Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the
19 City Hall of said City.. located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue.. all in the City of
20 Vernon.. Los Angeles County.. California; that this Ordinance shall be in full
21 force and effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of posting.
