"'WHEREAS,. On June 21" 19G6 a hearing was held at 2:00 o'cLock P.M.
9 in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall in ihe City of Vernon, 4305 Santa
10 Fe Avenue, Vernon" California for the purpose of receivIng oral or written
11 protefil.ts from any owner of pl'operty vrithin the territory proposed to be annexed;

WHEREAS, no written or oral protests were received;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED:
SECTION 1:

The City Council. of the City of Vernon does here-
).6 by approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter delicribed. to the City of

described as follows: Beginning at a point, .said point being
the northwesterly corner of Lot 3 of Tract No. 9734 in the
City of Vernon" County of Los Angeles, State of California
aa per map recorded in Book 160" Pages 5 and 6 of Maps in
the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence N
