FOn. ELECTRICAL ENERGY DISTHIBUTED AND SUPPLIED BY SAID CITY OF
3 VERNON WITHIN ITS BOUNDAHIES, AND REPKALING ORDINANCES NOS. 766,
783, 786, and 803 OF SAID CITY.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' Vli;RNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The rates to be charged and collected, and
7 the terms, provisions, and conditions respecting the distribution
8 of electrical energy supplied by the City of Vernon for service
10 be those rates, terms, provisions and conditions as set forth in
9 rendered on and after the effective date of this Ordinance, shall
11 Southern California Edison Company Advice Letter No. 342-E, dated
12 September 6, 1969, to the Public Utilities Commission of the
13. State of California, applicable to tfSchedule No. P,,-7 General
14 Service, Schedule No. A-8 General Service-Large, Sheet No. 4047-E,
15 Schedule No. DM, Domestic Service-Multi-Family Accomodation,
16 Schedule No. LS-l Lighting-Street and Highway Utility Owned
17 System, Schedule No. LS-2 Lighting-Street and Highway Customer-
18 OWned Installation, Schedule No. OL-l Outdoor Area Lighting
19 Service, Schedule No. P-l Power-General Connected Load Basis,
20 Schedule No. PA-l Power-Agricultural and Pumping Connected Load
21 Basis, Schedule No. PA-2 Power-Agricultural and Pumping Demand
~2 Basis, Schedule No. TC-l Traffic Control ServiceTt, and as set
23 forth in Southern california Edison Company Advice Letter No.
24 343-E, dated October 3, 1969, to the Public utilities Commission
25 of the State of California, applicable to Schedule No. A-I
26 General Service and Schedule No. D-l Domestic Service, Advice
27 Letter No. 284-E, dated July 15, 1963, applicable to Schedule
28 No. A-8 General Service-Large, Sheet No. 3229-E, and, further,
29 the rates, terms and provisions and conditions as set forth in
30 Southern California Edison Company Advice Letter No. 293-E of
31 June 1, 1964 to the Public utilities Commission of the State of
32 California, applicable to Schedule No. S-Standby, said Advice
Letters being made a part of this Ordinance as though set forth

2 SECTION 2: Ordinances Nos. 766, 783, 786, and 803 of
3 the City of Vernon, and all other ordinances or portions thereof
4 in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
5 SECTION 3: The rules and regulations respecting the
6 distribution of electrical energy supplied by the City of Vernon
7 shall be those rules and regulations of the Southern California
8 Edison Company applicable to electrical service in the City of
9 Vernon, and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Vernon on
10 December 27, 1961, and subsequent thereto, up to and including the
11 date of enactment of this Ordinance.
12 The City Council of the City of Vernon may from time to
13 time authorize by resolution changes in the rules and regulations
14 applicable to said electrical service, not in conflict with rate
15 schedules, relating to conditions of service and application, and
16 interpretation of rates, and relating to other provisions set
17 forth in this Ordinance.
18 SECTION 4: Any provision of the rules and regulations
19 of the Southern California Edison Company relating to the exercise
20 of jurisdiction by the Public utilities Commission of the state of
21 California shall be deemed to refer to and mean the City Council
22 of the City of Vernon.
23 SECTION 5: Ordinance No. 749 of the City of Vernon is
24 hereby deemed to still remain in full force and effect, and not to
25 have been repealed by this Ordinance of the City of Vernon, and
26 the allowance or credit given pursuant to ordinance No. 749 or
27 any resolution adopted pursuant thereto shall remain in full force
28 and effect, and shall be applicable to all the rates as set forth
29 in this Ordinance.
30 S]~CTION 6: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
31 hereby directed to keep and maintain three (3) copies of the
32 above mentioned rate schedules and rules and regulations

,1 applicable to electric service in the City of Vernon, in the
2 office of the City Clerk of the City of Vernon, and make said
3 tariff schedules available on request for examination in said
4 office.

SECTION 7: There being no newspaper printed, published,
6 or circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
7 directed to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall
8 post the same, or cause the same to be posted, in three of the
9 most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: The northwest
10 corner of 38th street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner
11 of Leonis Boulevard and pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin
12 board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at 4305
13 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles,
14 state of California; that this Ordinance shall be in full force
15 and effect thirty (30) days from and after the final passage of
16 the same.
