ORDINANCE NO. 833
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING SECTION 2.5-4 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, 1959.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l: Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Vernon,
6 California, 1959, is hereby amended as set forth below in this
7 Ordinanc e :

SECTION 2: Section 2.5-4 of said Chapter 2 is hereby
9 amended to read as follows:

"The regular meeting of the Finance Committee of
the City shall be held in the Council Chamber of
the City Hall, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue
in the City, on the first (lst) Monday following
the first regular meeting of the City Council
each month, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock a.m."
SECTION 3: That all Ordinances or portions thereof in
17 conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4: There being no newspaper printed, published
19 or circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
20 directed to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall
21 post the same or cause the same to be posted in three (3) of the
22 most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest
23 corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner
24 of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin
25 board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at 4305
26 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, Los Angeles County,
27 State of California; that this Ordinance shall be in full force
28 and effect thirty (30) days from and after the final passage of the
29 same.
