ORDINANCE NO. 836
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON DESIGNATING ARTICLE VI TO
CHAPTER 7 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, 1959, AND
DELETING APPENDIX I THEREFROM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, ORDINANCE NO. 835 has been adopted by title for a
first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Vernon, held on September 19, 1972, and

WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City!

of Vernon that Ordinance shall become a part of the City Code of :
the City of Vernon as described above,
IT IS ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l: That at the time Ordinance No. 835 shall be in
full force and effect, the same shall constitute Article VI of
Chapter 7 of the Code of the City of Vernon, California, 1959, and
the numbering of the sections set forth in Ordinance No. 835 shall
have preceeding each section m.nnber the designation "Sec. 7.6"
followed by the section number as set forth in said Ordinance.

SECTION 2: That upon the date which Ordinance Noo 835 shal~

take effect, Appendix I of the Code of the City of Vernon, Califor- I

nia, 1959, be and the same hereby is repealed in its entirety.

SECTION 3: There being no newspaper printed, published or I

i
i
three of the most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: I

the northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the north- I

circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk of the City of
Vernon is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Ordi-
nance and shall post the same or cause the same to be posted in
east corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the
bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City located
at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, County of Los
Angeles, State of California; that this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect thirty (30) days from and after the final passage
