ORDINANCE NO. 838
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VERNON DELETING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF
ORDINANCE NO. 835 OF THE CITY OF VERNON

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION l: Ordinance No. 835 of the City of Vernon is
6 hereby amended by deleting therefrom the last three words of line
7 23 of page lO of Ordinance No. 835, to wit: the words, "shall be
8 protected" 0
9
SECTION 2: The foregoing shall eliminate said last
10 three words from the Amendment to Section 14.203 (f) of the Uniform
11 Fire Code recommended by the Western Fire Chiefs' Association and
12 the International Conference of Building Officials, being particu-
13 larly the 1971 Edition thereof, and shall further amend Ordinance
14 No. 836 to the extent that the same shall constitute Article VI of
15 Chapter 7 of the Code of the City of Vernon, California, 1959.
SECTION 3: There being no newspaper printed, published
16
17 or circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby di-
18 rected to certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall post
19 the same or cause the same to be posted in three (3) of the most
20 public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest corner
21 of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis
22 Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the
23 lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at 4305 Santa Fe
24 Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles, State of
25 California; that this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
26 thirty (30) days from and after the final passage of the same.
